Universal Car Radio ISO Connector Harness
The Universal ISO wiring harness is equipped with the industry standard ISO connections commonly used on head units within the car-audio industry. The black ISO plug provides the head-unit power connections, and the brown plug provides the speaker connections. The opposite end of the harness has no termination, and the wires are supplied stripped.
The Universal radio ISO connector harness is useful on older vehicles that don’t have any factory-installed car radio connector and/or when you have to create your radio wiring loom from scratch—or you simply want to tidy up that mess of stereo wiring behind your dashboard…
The car stereo ISO connector plugs on the harness will connect directly into the back of any head unit that uses standard ISO radio connectors (e.g. our JVC range of head units).
Please note that many brands of head units use a non-ISO power plug that connects into the back of the head unit. These head units are typically supplied with a mini-harness that converts the model-specific multiplug power connection into a standard ISO car radio connector. The Universal ISO harness will connect into the one-piece and two-piece ISO connections typically found on these mini-harnesses, as pictured below.
If your Land Rover still has its factory radio connector intact, we offer a range of plug & play ISO adaptor harnesses to convert the different Land Rover radio connectors used over the years to ISO connectors.
