The cable operated fan and heater controls in classic Defenders are notoriously poor in their performance and reliability. While Land Rover upgraded to an improved fan heater for the Td4 (MY 2007), earlier Defenders have had to put up with the same heater system that Land Rover installed in the very first Ninety & One Ten models way back in the early 80s. The Nakatanenga Electronic Heater Control allows you to retrofit your older Defender with an electronic system.
